Terms and Conditions
1. Access to Amplifi Radio, its services and network is not a right but a privilege.
2. Amplifi Radio staff reserves the right to suspend member accounts without warning for abuse of its network, websites, services or its staff, other members or violating its terms & conditions.
3. Amplifi Radio has a worldwide audience and although there is no 'watershed' we make every effort to ensure our DJ's, Presenters & programmes are safe for all ages. Amplifi Radio aims to follow OFCOM's Broadcast Code as a matter of good practise in radio broadcasting rather than because of legislation.
4. Amplifi Radio aims to bring together a network of friends that support one another to show respect the views of individuals. We welcome new members as friends and we will endeavour to support our members as friends should it be necessary in a dispute. However, in matters of series misconduct while offering members support we reserve the right to terminate or suspend membership.
5. Music Use. Amplifi Radio strictly considers music piracy, file sharing sites or links to such sites as a series breach of our obligation to support musicians, artists and composers it seeks to promote. Such links found in our comments, forums or related sites will be removed immediately, and offending IP-Address of the source email will be logged and possibly barred from accessing our services. Amplifi Radio's desire is to support the records/tracks it plays, so if you like a track we expect you as a listener or user to please buy the track and support the artist!
6. Membership. Amplifi Radio exists to provide its members with space to broadcast. This space is a privilege and not a right. A membership subscription is charged for a smallcontribution to our streaming & royalty costs as well as helping to encourage committment from our presenters.
• Minimum age - We expect most of our dj's & presenters to be at least 16. Therefore we expect where presenters/members or dj's are under 18 that consent from the parent/guardian has been given through the membership application. This is also considered to be granted on receipt of the membership fee paid by credit / debit card.
• Live Broadcast programmes from our members are expected to ensure the fulfil our terms and conditions. i.e. no swearing or inappropriate language. (see point 3). On payment of your membership subscription (minimum 3 months) you will be allocated a slot in our schedule (we should be able to negotiate a time suitable for you) It is then your responsibility to broadcast your show in that slot only without going over or starting early. For each broadcast show you will need to submit to us your royalty/listener report.
• Pre-recorded programmes In the first instance, and before doing live shows we would encourage you to produce pre-recorded show links. You will need to tell us what kind of music you want in your slot so we can set up our radio server with your clock in your show time. This is also a good way to advertise forthcoming live show. We will set-up your show and send you your playlist so you know where your links come.
• Show promo's - as a member actively producing a show we expect you to produce a show promo of no more than 30 seconds that we can play out during other times to advertise your show/slot.
• In show advertising - We ask all members doing live shows not to carry your own advertising without clearing with use first. We will, ask you to play-out certain adverts & sponsor messages of at least twice. We will give you a ftp access to download your adverts /promos for your show.
7. Workshops & Special events - Amplifi Radio exists to provide workshops for youth, children's and school groups whether through the one-time special club activity or hosting at an event. Therefore from time to time Amplifi-Radio reserves the right to suspend member's programmes on either one or both of its streams to accommodate event based broadcasts. Although we will take into account member's live broadcasts and will therefore not suspend members live broadcasts and if we do we will give the member notice and a new slot for that week.
8. Amplifi Radio reserves the right to make changes and updates to these terms & conditions as necessary and will post new versions on the website. We will also email out to our members details of changes to the terms & conditions. Changes to terms and conditions will immediately supersede the previous ones.
9. Broadcasting & Royalties. All presenters must abide by the rules attaining to broadcast of pre-anouncing tracks according to our licences. This includes
